AirPlaying from a MacBook

1. Access the "Control Center" icon on the top navigation bar.

2. Click the "Screen Mirroring" button.

3. Select the device you would like to AirPlay to. All classroom Apple TVs are named after the classroom they are in.

4. A 4-digit code will appear that you will type into your MacBook. Your MacBook screen should now appear on screen.

Troubleshooting Tips:

  1. Before AirPlaying, the Apple Aerial screensaver should appear. If it doesn't the Apple TV may not have power, or the TV or HDMI switcher is on the wrong input.

  2. Did you not receive a code? Try unplugging the Apple TV, briefly. Please submit a HelpDesk ticket so we can track this issue.
  1. You have are having persistent issues AirPlaying, your MacBook may require a software update.
