Connecting Personal Devices to the Wi-Fi
Connecting personal devices to the Wi-Fi at William Jewell College is a simple two-step process. You must have your William Jewell account to connect to our unrestricted personal device network.
Getting Your Personal Network Key
- Use your mobile data or the JewellGuest network to navigate to the onboarding portal linked below. You will receive the standard Microsoft login prompt.
- Login using your William Jewell Account (<username>@william.jewell.edu)
- You will get a Wi-Fi Password screen as shown below. Your personal password (network key) for the ‘Jewell’ network is displayed. Note that this password is a phrase and includes spaces between the words; you’ll need to include those spaces.
Connecting Your Device to the Network
Connect to the ‘Jewell’ network. When prompted for the network key, enter the password you just obtained. You should now be connected to the network.
If you aren’t connected, double-check your password and make sure to include the spaces in the phrase.
Use this same network key/password for ALL of your devices and ONLY for YOUR devices. Each person receives a different password.
